DSC_0141 (1024x680) (2)As Dorothea Mackellar noted, Australia really is a land of extremes, and one of my great joys is photographing those extremes.

One of the photos I get a lot of great comments on is one I took on the Murrumbidgee when it was in full flood. It’s of a dead bush, reflecting in the water. At least I thought it was dead until I was there again when the flood had receded and the “dead” bush was a mass of green leaves.

So here are the comparison shots. The first one taken in June 2012 and the second in January 2014.
